Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and filmmaker. Known for her elegant beauty her endurance in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as performer. She started her career as a model in the 1970s before becoming one of the top models. At the beginning of 1990, she began studying the theatre and acting. Later, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo first appeared on TV in ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. She was Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut movie. Her determination won the hearts of the critics, who initially were unsure about her abilities as an actress. Rose was also able to make MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first female to fight in a title fight within any major organization. Namajunas was able to win a few other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
